Myaaa... TT_TT I was going to submit this yesterday, but I ended up staying at a friend's house.

Anyway. Ari and Nicholaus~ I've had this done for almost two weeks now, and I'm surprised I still like it o^o

If there's anyone out there who's curious about how they got their eye patches and not-so-heavenly-ness, this is it. They get banished because they end up using witchcraft/black magic/sorcery/whatever you want to call it. Even though, as Nicholaus ends up pointing out, the elder members (sort of like a royal council, or however you want to think of it) uses the same thing for their own ways to keep order.

And you can figure out now that that spell they used is the reason they have to cover their eyes. I was gonna draw the actual scene of it happening, but it was too hard. Too much blood, too.

This all happens when Nicholaus is fifteen and Ari is thirteen (or really twenty-seven if you count her human life owo)

But Ari's the only one who really gets the punishment. Nic has a "Get out of Jail FREE" card for being considered royalty.

_{Lol you might be surprised that the ideas of "God" and "Jesus" and everything else isn't mentioned in their story. It sorta makes it sound like Nicholau's father is the high, godly commander, but it's really the council-people that call the shots. Kinda like those stories of the church using faith for acts of violence and stuff like the old times <_<}

Buuut Nicholaus ends up running away to Earth anyway. He before-hand erased Ari's memory, because of his fear that she would blame him for everything that happened.

I hope that wasn't too long of an explanation =A= But I'm happy to finally tell the first part of their story without having to draw a comic. I don't have that kind of talent TTwTT

And so we make things clear, too: Ari is not all Mary-Sure and damsel-in-distress-y. NOT EVEN CLOSE. She's very rebel and would rather kill somebody with her bare hands then let them take her as a captive or something. (She even tries killing an angel when they get her ready for her exile trial.)

Nicholaus is also not so much of a gentleman as everyone here thinks 8D; He had a foul mouth as a kid.. still does |3 But he does know how to be civil and collected when he has to be.
